Hello all! Brand new guitar player here with a quick question.

Can someone tell me what string guage a new American Strat ships with? I've been playing mine for several months and they are in desperate need of changing but I'm not 100% sure of the gauge that I'm playing.

I'd like to buy the same gauge replacement strings as the ones that it shipped with.

They should be 9's (.009, .011, .016, .024, .032, .042)

If you forget again, they give the string guages on the guitar spec page on the Fender site.

Ahhhh, I didn't know that but thanks for the heads up.
