There has been picture forums showing everyone our pride and joy, so why not let people hear them, and it gives us a chance to listen to just how versatile the Strat is with all our different styles.

This is the video on Youtube of me messing about on my 2003 MIM Fender Stratocaster Satin Finish Candy Apple Red, before I put the Seymour Duncan Hotrail in the bridge.

So people lets hear your Strats, through sound clips or videos.

I have been wanting to post something for a while, however, my should and arm was injured in an accident. It is slowly getting better and I want to get some more dexterity back before I post something.

You have some great licks, keep it up. I am not a lead player and do not posess the knack for the blinding fast leads. Keep up the good work. Love to see something serious if that was just a distortion test. (lol)

A good thing is to add an option which allows the YouTube videos to be automatically embedded.

Showing our Strats in action sounds pretty nice. But it's not enough. We should also show any Fender guitar, bass and amp!

Why that riff came to mind I will never know. Battery died after 32 seconds. Good thing haha.

sounds a little bit like TOOL. No?

EDIT: Just realised now that it was a short medley of licks. Figure by your comment you meant that you were just messin around.

Hey Nev,

That is pretty cool, can I ask what right hand technique you are using there?

You dont seem to be using a pick, but when you play, you play kind of 'pick style'?

Are you hitting the strings with your first finger (front or back of the nail?) or using your thumb somehow?

I play fingerstyle but use my thumb and first two fingers.

Nice technique anyhow!

Russ

In the signature line link.

Tush is my 57 hotrod into a 100watt DSL (studio's)set on 2treble, 9mid and full bass. Bit of Jen wah here and there and thats it. Aint it amazing what 4 burning el34's can do for ya.

Sunshine is just the same. I had the rhythm track buried.(love that DSL meltdown crunch)

Need Your Love so Bad is my Custom Classic with a bareknuckles sultans set of pickups into my 59 watkins clubman with a bit of verb/delay added at the desk. (one sound I am happy with).
