Come on. Everyone knows that Nevin makes Clapton, Johnson, and Gilmour look Lame, Sick, and Dying.

Nevin!

Are they still making music? I have not heard from them in quite some time.

I believe so.. The last CD I bought of them was "forgiven" that came out in 2008.

Hi Nevin.

Okay, It's sure is nice to talk with a legend like yourself on a Internet board. I tried to do a Google search but all I could come up with was a boxer from Canada. Then again, you do seem a bit punchy.

I guess I failed, could you tell me what Band/CD titles or fan sites you might have to find more information about you please?Because no one would ever lie on the internet and you are legend if only in your own mind.

Hi all.

Here goes my first post here, I was reading the post who between SRV, Hendrix and Clapton was the best stratocaster player, and I was thinking, well all three are but two are no longer with us, and the "Saint" effect comes in once and artist has left us.
It's hard to point out anything unfaltering about someone who has past on, so I think it would be a more fair question to ask, who do you think is the best Strat player who is still with us?

I will give you my three picks, please don't feel you need to agree with them and do please feel free to add to the list.

1) Kenny Wade Shepherd.

2) Eric Johnson.

3) Yngwie Malmsteen.

So......who do you feel should be added?

You can't decide between these three because they are so different. Because I'm a blues/rock fan, I'd say Clapton.

It is a limited edition, I am thinking maybe a budget line Squire for the true fans, and a Masterbuilt replica of my #1 for the collectors.

I really hope they can duplicate that sweat impregnation. That is the mojo.

Outstanding!

What pickups?

Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Hank Marvin, Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan, Eric Johnson, Michael Landau, Jeff Beck, Ronnie Wood, Bob Dylan (he currently plays a '72 Thinline Telecaster), Matthias Jabs, Dave Murray, Janick Gers, Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden heavy metal gurus), Bonnie Raitt, Richie Sambora, Ritchie Blackmore, Jim Root, Yngwie Malmsteen, Pete Townshend... not to mention a plethora of other famous artists who play Strats and Teles regularly onstage and in the studio.

As for the best living Strat players I would have to say Lincoln Brewster and Eric Johnson.
