I agree! Make things more interesting! I wouldn't mind having a purple stratocaster!

Man Nevin1985, You have a LOT of guitars! Amazing what one can do in PhotoShop!  cool idea to play around with getting a color you might want to do a refinish job with!

Hey Nevin, the photshop colors look cool but what caught my eye was the maple neck and what looks like some grain or figuring on the headstock and frets. Is that like a birdseye or curly maple or just a funny angle making it an illusion? I love that kind of maple if that what it is

Nice photo shopping.

But I like the one I got just last month, even if it's a limited edition model.

We should not have to rely on the Custom Shop to get something cool! Mix it up a bit! Don't be so plain!

I find this to be attractive.

Im liking the 3ply mint on seafoam green with tinted V neck... very different yet still classy :)

I liked some of your color choices.

About 10 years ago, maybe less, Fender had a contest for the next Fender Color. I remember some of the colors: Griffiti Yellow, Orange, purpleish lavender color, and some shade of green. Your pictures remind me of the contest. I think the Yellow won.

Can you make one OD Green?

I was also thinking Fender could "M&M" colors. Make it a contest to win one.

I actually really like this color. I think there was someone on the other Fender forum who painted one this color and put a rosewood lam pickguard on it to look like a 70's stove or oven or something like that. It was really creative what he came up with though.

I think that Fender actually had this color at one time - Capri Orange IIRC.

There was a early Jeff Beck signature that was about this color. Yea they got the codes for the paint. Common' Fender, lets' jazz it up a bit with the colors already!

You're right, I find that attractive too. I find it very attractive - is it yours? Love that neck - which presumably makes it a CS? Within which case you can have it any color your like I guess!

I'd stick with the color in the pic.

Cheers - C

Streuth, yeah: it looks nice! You can actually see how thin the lacquer is in the photos!

Who buys a guitar like that and then never plays it? Bizarro!

Cheers - C

Actually, the Robert Cray strat is offered in a dark violet, and it looks pretty sharp.
