Post subject: Whats the value of a Fender Strat Plus?

The Strat plus seems to be cheaply available in late 80's vintage. Why is it less popular than a classic standard Fender strat? I have a 1990 (http://www.gtrmusic.co.uk/fender-strat-plus-candy-apple-1990-p-64.html) and 1991 (http://www.gtrmusic.co.uk/fender-strat-plus-sunburst-1991-p-65.html) example plus my first decent guitar: a gorgeous (IMHO!) 1988 Lake Placid Blue guitar that Ill never sell.

Question is do you think Im asking too much?

The Candy Apple Red one looks like Lipstick Red to me. I usually see them go for $700-$800 US.

I've seen them locally at Guitar Center for around $600. Sometimes they are a little more, but they don't seem to be worth more than newer used American Strats...
