CHROME RED 2003 Amer. Dlx Fat Strat w/ mint green guard, aged knobs, and an aged , distressed chrome covered DiMarzio 36th Anniv P.A.F..........
Gives it a 'different ' look!

The 36th Anniversary DP223 PAF is one of the best-sounding humbuckers you might expect from DiMarzio. Warm and punchy like the original Gibson PAFs of the late 1950s, but with a little extra juice under the hood...

HWY1Strat, this pickup sounds just amazing. Much better than the stock DH-1.

The stock DH-1 is literally a piece of CRAP!!
It now resides on my refrigerator as a lovely magnet holding up this week's grocery list!

Tell me something I DON'T know!! I LOVE this pickup and between this and the AREA series of noiseless Stratocaster pickups...I have completely forgiven Dimarzio for ignoring us non METAL-HEADS all these years!!

I have this in 3 of my Highway One Strat HSS's and a regular DiMarzio P.A.F. in another!

Here is one of my 2008 MIM Standard. It looked good but I did end up switching over to aged white. I think it goes better with the maple neck, IMO.
