Originally she started out as a cheap Fender Starcaster (not the Semi-hollow obviously). Shes just a polished turd now.

We have some pretty good photographers in here eh?

In the spirit of competition, BMWKTM has the lead in my opinion. That is a great shot. Submit your votes!

Very nice. I am sure it is well built as today's Custom Shop guitars.

Xhefri, that Firebird is flat out gorgeous!

I'm a recent Firebird convert. I picked one up for the first time about a month ago and it was love at first touch. I knew it was going home with me as soon as I plugged it in to a '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue.

Johnny Winter was right. :)

That thing is badass! I have always wanted a firebird. 8)

Thanks! Just got it this past weekend.

Probably the amps are pretty similiar tone-wise...whenever I am A/Bing guitars & the store doesn't have a Delta Blues I try to plug into a Blues/Blues Jr. When I orginally got the DB, there was also a used Fender Blues Deville(?) available for about the same $$ - I ended up with the Peavey, though both sounded really good.

The DB has 30watts and a 15" speaker, so a bit more power under the hood then the Jr. I often lower the gain on tube 1 to get more headroom when I want to tinker.

On the Peavey T-60 forum it was said that Mr. Peavey responded that model amp with a 15 " speaker was the best they ever built tone wise with tubes.

I was wondering, does yours hum very loud. I have one I bought new right out of the box and it hums louder than any of my other amps. The tone is really nice with the 15" speaker, especially for the bottom end.
