shouldn't harm or damage it as such, but it would pay to get it re-setup for the higher gauge to make sure its all playing properly

The extra tension from the heavier strings is likely to put more upward pull on the trem block. You may have to adjust the claw screws in the back to pull it back down to where it was/where you want it. Intonation may also have to be adjusted. Both of these things are very easy to do.

Sometimes going to a heavier gauge will put more bow in the neck, which could mean a very slight truss rod adjustment. That is also easy to adjust, but you should measure relief before and after to see if it is necessary.

No harm will be done. I recommend a COMPLETE SETUP be done.

You may have to adjust the saddles and the truss rod for the extra tension the thicker strings cause. The nut slots should handle the strings, just put some pencil shavings in there to help "lub" the slots.
