Hi,
I just got a fender strat. I wanted to know where to find some free guitar lessons online. Maybe a website that had video tutorials or something that I could follow along to teach myself how to play the guitar.

Any suggestions?

Julie

Do a google search. There are many. I've checked out http://www.nextlevelguitar.com/ myself. Not too bad. There is a lot of free stuff there. You would have to pay for "full access" though. I'm sure you will get many responses here. Good Luck

Welcome, Julie. Again, I must recommend www.justinguitar.com
Justin Sandercoe is a wonderful teacher and guitarist, and gives the best lessons I've ever seen online. This conclusion has also been drawn amongst many of my friends. In addition to his very many courses for blues, jazz, metal, pop etc. for all levels, he teaches plenty of brilliant tunes in the best ways.
Enjoy!

I've tried the free online lessons but the one I subscribed to (can't remember the name) wasn't very good. I know a few sites out there have some great programs though. Just need to really look through google.

Hah, seems like Justin got himself a pretty nice bunch of fans here aswell. Anyone meeting up with him during his Europe tour the following weeks? Personally, I'm looking forward till he gets to Scandinavia.
