If I wanted a non reverse wound middle pickup on my strat, would I just order two neck pickups or is there some other difference between the two? The reason I ask is that Fralin vintage hot sets have a RWRP middle pup...and I'm installing a humbucker in the bridge so don't need a set anyhow.

Can anyone see any other problem with the following scenario: Two overwound vintage hot neck pups (one for the neck, one for the middle) and a Dimarzio 36th anniversary PAF for the bridge. I'm going to wire it up using Fender S-1 switching. To help take care of hum, I'm going to use a full 62' style P/G shield and paint the cavity with shielding paint.

I would call Lindy Fralin and ask him. I bought a set of split blades from him, I had questions, called and he talked with me about it.He knows his stuff. call (804) 358-2699. 8)
