Post subject: Price for a 1990 MIJ Strat? and Question

I'm looking to purchase a MIJ Strat it's in good condition with little fret wear. I would like to know the average price these MIJ go for.

The question is the s/n is on the heel of the neck right above the neck pocket I've never seen a s/n there before and wondering if this is a legit neck.

Average prices are in the $500 to $600 dollar ranges, with rarer, special edition, and EXTRAD guitars going for much, much more.

Apparently, my '67 MIJ is an EXTRAD guitar. Luckily, I managed to trade to it and the guitar I traded it to was purchased for only $450.
