I have an American Deluxe that has a flaw on the finish and Fender is replacing the body, but they are in the middle of a Tele run and was told it could be up to 8 weeks before they get production of the Strats going again.

8) you should go to guitarcenter they have a great selection, that way you can try them, not every guitar is the same

I think there were inventory problems around the holidays. I tried to get one and it was out of stock and on backorder, but that may have just been the store here in utah.
