Tremelos. You got your 2 point Synconized, Vintage Style, locking Block american and others. Whats the diff, which one best for classic rock?

2 point are modern bridges. they pivot on 2 screws, which makes them work smoother.

vintage bridges pivot on six screws.

there isn't much difference in sound, if any. they will both work fine for classic rock.

...And you don't need a locking tremolo (eg. Floyd Rose) unless you're gonna abuse your whammy bar.

hmm, I always thought Floyd roses were used for more than that. I think the vintage style looks better anyway. I wish mine wouldn't wiggle as much, makes an aweful knocking sound. :(

oh I love that knocking sound old chap - seriously - I think it adds character to trem use especially when you whack up the volume through a tubescreamer with a lot of compression on....well, that's my 1 pence worth !
