Post subject: Mark Kopfler vs 57 reissue?

I have saved money up to buy the Mark Knopfler signature. I alway purchase at a local music store because I like the service and they have good guitar guys who assist me with on-going setup. The Knopfler will take about 4 months to ship. I can purchased a 57 surf green today. I played the 57 and really liked the feel, however I think I would also like the feel of the Knopfler, plus I think I would like the rosewood fretboard and Texas pickups.
Any advise? :roll:
