So like,I have the option on a trade...my fender classic player HH jag,its mexican with all american hardware and pickups,also has a cool blendabil coil tap thingy...to trade for a mex 60th anniversary strat,also all american hardware and pickups...at the moment I have 2 good HH lp's,so I kinda have the duel humbucker aria covered...and believe it or not,I have never owned a strat
So any opinions? I'm gona arrange a meeting to try out the guitar and stuff...
I like the jag and it has alota personality,tonal wise and cosmetically...
I play alota white stripes,old kings of leon,blues,old rock(zeplin to ac/dc)

Sell the CP Jag outright, save a bit and buy the best sounding and feeling Strat that you can afford.

A MIM Standard Strat for a CP Jaguar? While the MIM may have American hardware and may play just as good as a MIA Strat, you're getting cheated money wise.

Hold out a bit longer. I managed to get lucky and I traded my MIJ Fuji-Gen Jag for a MIJ Fuji-Gen Strat with CS '69 pups. Keep looking if you don't want to keep the Jag, that's my suggestion.
