I don't know if I would have liked it without seeing one but I love the yellow strat.

I'm not an expert like many of you here and I've never heard of a 48th St. Model. What's the story behind those?

the 48th st. model is a Sam Ash only Strat, "celebrating" the music row of the past around 48th Street in Manhattan.
