Just bought some Kenny Wayne Shepherd custom pickups from eBay and installed them today. They sound great, but I couldn't get the white pup covers from my stock pups to fit right on them, so I had to use the aged white ones they came with. Doesn't look quite as great so I want to mess with it again next time I change strings and see if I can get them on.

Also tried to rectify my non-functioning neck-on switch I tried to make last time I opened her up, but messed up again and made a neck kill switch instead. Does anyone know how to fix this? Should I swap the two wires on the push/pull pot? Thanks.

Next mods I'm looking for are the American Deluxe string tree(s?) and graphtech string saddles, as well as mapping Tone 1 to both neck and middle. Didn't have the time or wire to do it this go-round. Eventually I want a thicker neck with jumbo frets, possibly maple, with a V shape. I think warmoth refers to this as the "Boatneck," basically a thicker version of the Clapton.

I'm gonna need more money
