Are you talking MIM or MIA?

Quick question i got a friend whos pawning off there 08 usa standard with plastic on pickguard & tailpiece, all case candy,key for case, and they had installed Strap locks but have og ones as well. I threw them a numer 600 for guitar they bit is this a good investment for trade, or resell purposes?? I'm not huge on strats I'm in texas and they are everywhere. Even though at 11 my first guitar I bought with my money was a usa start which I later pawned at a low point in my life awwww kick to the head now. 600 for a 08 usa strat mint what are your thoughts??

600 for an 08 MIA standard is a great deal.You could probably turn around and sell it for a profit.The upgraded 08 to present are good quality instruments and as always will hold their value decently,but its a buyers market right now and strats like anything else are going cheap.

I think $600 is a great deal (depending on condition of course)
