Hi,
Are 1996 Stratocasters TBX or Delta Tone?
I recently bought a second hand 1996 Vintage white Stratocaster, and under the pickguard are one volume and two tone 250k pots, no TBX.
I'am not really sure that this configurtaion is correct or could it be that the electronics have been changed, and the TBX was removed or is this Stratocaster a Delta Tone??..

Thank you very much for your reply and help.

If it has Delta Tone the middle knob (Tone 1) will have a detente (little feel of a lock) at the 10 position. That's a sure tell. That detente is where the load is taken off the pickups. Some guys hate it because it's difficult to roll off the tone quickly with your pinky while playing. I'm not a good enough player where that will ever be a problem.
