Hey there,

I have recently bought a 1976 Strat, but unfortunately I have no wrenches to adjust the neck and the bridge saddles. As I live in Europe I have metric tools, could anyone of you give me the size of the required wrenches (in mm or inch) so I can acquire an adapter in the tool shop.

I have changed the strings for the first time now and the guitar was set up pretty good. After changing the strings it seems that the b and e string is way too high, the neck has bowed towards the strings and has to be adjusted. String gauge didn't change - how can this be? I mean, I just changed strings...

Thank you for your input.

The neck may now bow forward because the old strings got weak and lost their elasticity, who knows how long they been on... The new ones are now exerting a greater pull on the neck.

The allen wrench needed to adjust the neck is 1/8 of an inch or 3.175 mms.
