Looks ok

You have the same problem though with the neoprene tubing on the legs and probably the rubber grips on the neck dock.

their website does claim it to be safe for nitro finishes as does hercules stands. Same with ON Stage stands.

Nice Pic Niki...and good day to you.
I have been using these exclusively, after trying just about every other type including some expensive custom made cherry, oak, and mahogany ones (about $100.00 US) These have never left a mark on any of my guitars...the legs are covered in a cotton velvet fabric, and the headstock support rubber is that surgical stuff that stethoscopes are made out of. A bass player turned me on to these because of how easily they adjust to the length of any guitar...give one a whirl...I think you will like them

Ok JR

I had a look at the site. I do have a few misgivings but will give em a shot. You always need more stands anyway dont you.

Niki

I think you will be pleasantly surprised...the legs lock in the open position and in the closed position as well. The head piece flips over and the shaft collapses in seconds. Super easy to transport, super easy to use, very stage stable, nothing to catch on your strap or cable. I'm not a "stand specialist" but I do play one on TV. I think you will enjoy these.

Cheers

What I do is cut up a old tshirt and drape it over the stand. If you use a black shirt it looks great onstage against a black backing. All people can see are these guitars suspended 2" above the ground.

Most guitar stands tear up Nitro, this method above works best for me. But only the Highway 1 or CS Fenders use Nitro. Gibson uses them too.

I have several Nitro guitars. If they are not hanging on the wall on String Swing hangers I put them on Fret Rest ($19 @ GC) stands.

I cut the fingers off Leather work gloves and slide them over the foam arms on the Fret Rest stands so that the guitar only touch the leather. One pair does two stands.

If you already have the stands, then just buy the gloves.
