You'll never know how long I've been trying to tempt you from hiding. I tried all the old tricks. Hints towards certain plasticized amplifiers, doublenecks and allsorts. Damn all it took was a hint towards less feline inspired posts.

Wish I'd sussed that earlier.

Was it a culmination of all the above? Things have been dull without you.

Still no reply, is this some kind of prank? Are you just collecting email addresses Impulse?

Don't worry, I've heard back now. Got quite a surprise actually: I thought for a second I was getting an email from a gentleman very significant in Fender history. You'll see what I mean shortly I suspect...

*****

However, this sudden anti-cat thing has shocked me to the toes. Dunno if you and Orville can still be on my Christmas card list after that... ( )

Yknow how toast always lands butter side down, when you drop it. And how cats always land on their feet.

Do one of you cat owners want to try out my invention. Get some toast, stick it, butter side up to the back of a cat. Then drop the cat.

Antigravitycats.

My cat won't come near me since the last time I tried. I got the weight to butter ratio wrong. Could have done with a few more knobs of butter I expect.

That's almost as evil as the neighborhood kids when I was growing up. Stray cats ran rampid all over making a mess out of our garbage cans. Needless to say, a few cats were doused with gas and lit on fire. Nothing funnier to them at the time than to see a flaming cat ball fall out of a tree. I wasn't a cat fan back then, so it didn't bother me. If I wasn't allergic to them, I'd have one today...

Is this anti gravity cat thing a movement I haven't heard about? does it exist outside of these forums?

Sorry, I didn't take all of the bait! I've about run out of things to say.

The anti-gravity cat could be used to replace the US's aging Space Shuttles ...

Got a patent on it?

Then start at the beginning and say it all again! That's what most of us do...
