Ok, how do you adjust the saddle height on Strats? I tried what the manual said to do, but the allen wrench that was supplied doesn't really seem to do anything!

I want to raise the action because a couple strings are buzzing like crazy and fretting out!

if you don't know what your're doing, take it to a tech. But, those little allen wrenches should fit fine and raise or lower the saddle. Try this, lighten up the tension on the strings a little, don't want too much tension on the neck or strings when you're about to do what follows.
Now, make sure you have the right wrench, turn the wrench clockwise and you should see the saddle rising up. If you don't, try going counterclockwise to see if it goes down. If still nothing, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT SIZE WRENCH IN THE SCREW. Some of them are so small, you can't really tell if it's the right one or not.

Still nothing??? Take it to a tech.

Well, I've never done it before, but I wanted to get some experience by doing it. The tech at the store that sold it to me is excellent, he's a player as well as a tech, I guess I can take it to him. Thanks for the advice!

Get a book called Guitar Player repair guide by Dan Erlewine. How to set up, maintain and repair electrics and acoustics. It is excellent, and worth $22.95 cost. I have been a guitar tech since 1979, and have worked on many guitars. There is nothing as satisfying as setting up your guitar the way you like it. There is more pride of ownership when you have done the work. It also teaches you a lot about how guitars work and produce sound.
