So, i made the mistake of trying to install new tuning knobs myself which was a bad idea in hindsight. I wanted some locking tuners, so i bought some Sperzels. The problem that i ran into is that the stock fender tuners have 2 posts on the back of them that hold em in place whereas the Sperzels have just 1 and its dead center of the fenders. So, i had to drill a new hole in between the original fender holes. Me being the woodworking dynamo that i am, drilled some of the holes slightly skewed. Its not terrible but its not perfect. They do fit flush against the head and are fully installed, but a few of them are a little angled. It seems like it would be nothing more than an aesthetic annoyance but im a little worried that it will effect the integrity of the tuning or the strings somehow.
I'd appreciate a little knowledge on the subject, so if anyone could be so kind as to allay my fears that i royally screwed my guitar, i would be grateful. I do have pictures but i dont know how to load em up on here.

Thanks for the help! -Lukas

I don't think it'll hurt the tuning, but the Fender Schaller locking tuners would of fit without any drilling. See if you can take the Sperzels back and get some Fender Schallers, it'll line up straight and cover your holes.
