Looks OK from first glance. Instead of posting the same link to the serial number three times, can you also give us a shot of the back of the neck where it says "Made In Japan", or "Crafted In Japan"? How about a pic of the whole front of the headstock too just to be sure?

Is that an I (capitol i) of an L?

Looks like an I to me and makes that an 89-90, in which case I would say it looks like a Standard Strat.

Anyway to have the neck pulled and check to see what is written on the neck and in the neck pocket?

Those additional pics help. Looks legit to me. I'm not a Fender Japan expert, but shouldn't there be "Stratocaster" somewhere on the headstock?

I have 3 MIJ Strats and none of them say Stratocaster on them.
