Well...
The American Vintage series instruments are more accurate reproductions of vintage instruments, while the regular classic series instruments are just cheaper more modern versions of vintage instruments. People buy those to get special specs from vintage instruments in a cheap guitar.

has anyone encountered probs with the 70's neck joint? how good are the 62 or 57 reissues?
