Hi,I have just bought back a fender strat I originally bought in 2001.Its a 2001 strat made in corona california,Can anyone help me identify what pickuos the guitar has ?

What model is it?If its the American Series ,it has alnico5 pickups with the hot bridge pickup.

Its a 2001 Fender Corona serial no. Z0133283. Made in USA

I was about to but some texas special or lindy fralin blues specials but the stock pickups sound really bluesy already !!!

Not really we need to know the model of the guitar. The serial no' only tells us the date.

If the existing pickups sound good, why change em? Seems like a waste to me.

If they are stock pickups, they are American Series/Standard AlnicoV pickups with the hot bridge pickups.The bottom tone control should have the indent at 10 for the Delta Tone wiring.Hope this helps.
