MONEYS TIGHT, NOTHINGS FREE, WON'T SOMEBODY COME RESCUE ME. SRV
Money is tight at my house, I almost sold my SRV STRAT today. How could I even think that!
Someone please say something to stop me from thinking that way.

Think about it as putting food on the table you can always entertain them later.

Been there, done that. God only knows how many guitars I got rid of when I was younger and had to make ends meet. I know it sucks but sometimes you gotta do what is right for your situation. There are other SRV Strats out there. If you love it so much you can get another one when your money troubles are over. I have a few outstanding debts right now that aren't killing me but I could be happier if I didn't have them. I put my Kramer 5150 up on auction 3 weeks ago. No bidders as of yet though.

Think nobody helps you then what would you do?You will do the only one thing that is try to do yourself because the first men when start to learn guitar then he could not take help from others.Or you can bye a google android phone.Google has probably decided to join the android phones parade as a phone manufacturer too, The result seems to be promising like only Google knows.

You have to do what you have to do. I'm down to one guitar, period due to our wonderful economy. Family, food and a roof over your head comes first, don't you think?

Tough times call for tough decisions. If its a matter of family well being over guitars, well the choice is obvious. It's the times we live in currently.

Can't quite decide whether Google's viral marketing campaign is being very subtle here, or very unsubtle. Strange approach...

My guitars do not exist period. If I need scratch I will go down another avenue but selling a guitar is not one. I know a lot of guys have there backs to the wall as I see so many on ebay say they have to make a car payment , mortgage or pay a medical bill but it is only going to buy them a month, and then your ax is gone and you have to make the next one and then what do you do. At least you can be broke and play the blues for real.

I've faced a few hard times (believe me I've had my share of 'em) over the last few years although since getting full time work, it has gotten better.

But, when I have faced bad times I've always sworn never to sell any of my guitars. Selling other guitar gear yes but never my axe's.

Put it this way, I'd rather sell ANYTHING (within reason) rather than selling my guitars.

i recently had a salary reduction plus had to change my tax forms since i wasn't paying "enough" to the government. my wife makes good money and i work a 2nd job so we are now officially "rich" according to the government.
i simply can't sell any of my guitars or guns. fortunately we find ways to make it through hard times. i believe you will too.
as said above, you'll do what you need to do and there are other guitars out there when your finances improve. good luck.
