Post subject: 62RI Hot Rod neck

I have a 1988 '62RI that I love. But I play mostly blues, and the 7.25 neck frets out if I do more than a step bend at the 12th and higher. I wanted to put a 62 Hot Rod neck (9.5) on. Will this fit my body ok, or do you have to have a Hot Rod body?

It would probably fit right on it, but your going to pay a ton for that neck. I would check out http://www.warmoth.com/default.aspx they can hook you up for what ever you want, or treat yourself to a new axe :)
