Hi again astifighter: not something I know much about, so maybe someone else can help more. It looks like Splattercasters were made from at least 2003 to 2007. Maybe longer.

To the best of my belief they are not made anymore so I guess that qualifies them as a "limited edition". I think they made a lot of them though, so that edition is probably not very limited.

A quick look at Ebay suggests prices in the region of US$300 - 500 are normal. I've also heard of them selling for much less, as that other thread suggested.

Somewhere there is someone who is a "collector" of almost anything. I don't think you have a highly valuable guitar there, though. It looks great on you: if you like it I'd hang onto it, if I were you.

Good luck - C

That is one amazing looking guitar. I've not seen one quite so colourful. I may just have to search around to find one for my collection. The regular ordinary coloured strats in my basement look a bit stodgy by comparison...

Somehow... I don't think it's gonna look quite as good on you as it does on her!

No, VT, you're right there. I have to settle for playing older strats with a faded tye-dye shirt on. I'm past the days of women throwing undergarments on stage when I played, and they almost never fit anyway...
