I'm tryin to find out more about my Strat. I bought it privately 6 years ago, so I don't know a lot about it.

The neck is stamped 1998 and the serial is CN 700172. It came with gold hardware and Schaller tuners. The trem is a modern 2-point pivot and had an awful modern trem block.

I have upgraded the trem block with a Callaham steel block, Graphtech saddles, and retrofitted Kluson tuners - it plays beautifully

It has a birdseye maple neck with a rosewood board. The pickguard was white mother of toilet seat - but changed that to a tortoise.

I would like to know more about the pickups if possible and any other info you might want to share. I would like to change the bridge pickup to a more vintage sounding one, the current one sounds a bit too 90's rock style for me. The neck and middle pups are quite good.

I would hazzard to guess they are Modern Classic in the neck and mid, and Hot classic in the bridge.

Could even be vintage noiseless given the date of the guitar.
