Just curious if anyone has changed pickups in their Powerhoue?

What did you switch to and how does it compare to stock?

I have 3 gold lace sensors lying around and was going to swap out, but kind of dig the way the stock pickups sound, so not sure whether to do the swap or just sell the pups

Also kind of curious if anyone replace their pickups with non-noiseless ones and just left the dummy coil in place.

I wouldn't change my pups out, but that's just me. I plugged my PH into a Twin Reverb once upon a time and man... sweet is not sweet enough to describe it. No, I won't bother messing with perfection.

YMMV 8)

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

I think what I might do is just get a Clapton boost kit and put that and the gold laces in a 50s Classic Player that I have - kind of a diy Buddy Guy strat
