hello everybody!
I'll take another fender stratocaster, and I wanna know about some kind of necks...
I've heard about fender 68, 1 piece maple neck, and """slim grip""" neck, oval type, 40mm at nut!
Somebody knows if this neck is wider than C neck of 62's 65's or less wide??
this is the neck of the guitar that Jimi Hendrix used at wootstock, right?
Thanks

I think Hendrix Strat at Woodstock was 42mm at the nut.

Wasnt that the era of the laminated maple necks? Not one piece but two?

As far as nut widths go, you can generaly find that 2 guitars made on the same day, from the same series have differing nut widths. It all depends on who was sanding.

1mm probably seems pretty small when you operate some industrial grade belt sander.
