Nah mate, if you read the last comment I made in my original post guitars made of Jarrah wood are EXTREMELY trebley sounding guitars. Because of this I didn't want piercing tones flying out of the thing so I made the judgement call to move the pickup forward. STILL a very treble sound, closer to a charvel rear pickup position tone. If I'd stuck it right down next to the bridge I might have been unusable.

I'll plug it into my Line 6 pod xt live tomorrow and crank out some Van Halen riffs so you can hear what it sounds like.

Dan

Recorded using my Line 6 Pod XT live. Blackface on the left, EVH Eruption tone on the right.

I don't see a trussrod arriving in the pics. No skunk stripe, so it went in under the fingerboard with adjustment at the heel - right?

Correct, thats where the original one was I believe (2 years since I've seen it). As far as photos of some crazy tools, I dunno, I'll ask him to take some pics when he goes back there next.

N e way, that should about do it for this thread, looking forward to see what Kong comes up with :)

Very nice guitar. Is the pickup height adjustable or is it fixed?

Amazing guitar. I'm sure Eddie would love to tear it up!
