Are there any differences, pickups, tuners, etc, between a 2009 and a 2010 American Standard Stratocaster?

Thanks,
Spiral Gray

I'm pretty sure they're exactly the same, but a 2007 one would be different because thats when they were last updated.

from the products page;

Icon. Not a word to be used lightly. But the Stratocaster is just that. The new American Standard Stratocaster guitars are beauties to behold in sound, look and feel. We kept the hand-rolled fingerboard edges, alnico V pickups and staggered tuning machines for playability, tone and stability, and added several new features, including:

A new bridge with improved bent-steel saddles and a copper-infused high-mass block for increased resonance and sustain.
A new neck treatment—tinted for a richer presentation, with the maple or rosewood fingerboard buffed to a high gloss. The back of the neck still has that silky satin finish.
A thinner finish undercoat that lets the body breathe and improves resonance.
A new Fender-exclusive SKB molded case.
Two beautiful new finish options, Sienna Sunburst and Blizzard Pearl.

No difference at all.

It was for 2008 that Fender changed the specs and the American Series became the American Standard (again, but with updated specs).

1988-2000 = American Standard
2000-2007 = American Series
2008-current = American Standard

Yes. Click on the "Specs" tab and you'll see Introduced: 1/2008 .

Fender has cut down the finish options for the HSS Strat. Charcoal Frost and Blizzard Pearl were dropped. This guitar is currently available in Black, Sienna Burst and 3-Tone Sunburst.

My gripe is that the HSS suffers from the absence of the S-1 switch. This means less tonal options as opposed to the much versatile "American" version.

Apart of discontinuing Charcoal Frost and Blizzard Pearl, Fender hasn't offered both the SSS and HSS Strats with a Natural finish. They do the same silly thing by not offering the P and J-Basses with the Sienna Burst finish.
