I'll probably still change the pickguard to mint green when I change the strings next time.

When I bought this guitar home, my wife asked me if I bought it for our daughter and said it's the prettiest guitar I have, and then I showed it to my son and he asked if it used to belong to a girl lol.
I had to tell them it's a classic color.

is that a stock bridge on it? i have a new mim strat, and would love to have a bridge cover like you have on yours. where did you get it?

Well, I think it's a tex-mex strat, but I'm not sure, but those came with vintage hardware. The string spacing and size is the same as an american vintage bridge. I have another mexican standard strat and the cover doesn't fit on it. I bought it off ebay for $6.95.

I think when I was looking I saw some for Mexican strats too, but not postitive, would have to look again.

What pickups did you put in it?

They came from a 2005 american standard, that I swapped out lace sensors for.

Great job JSD. That is a sweet looking Strat. Is it sonic or daphne blue?

Very good looking guitar!
