What do you guys think about traded a '65 twin reverb reissue for this

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/msg/1725959722.html

The guy said it was lightly reliced by fender and that he had it refretted. So I don't know much that affects value.

It's a fair trade, but keep in mind that with the Fralin pups, you're not getting an all original Strat.

That guy doesn't know what he's talking about. The ONLY guitars that Fender relics are from the Custom Shop or the MIM Road Worns. That guitar just happens to be well played regular production line '57 AVRI Strat.

That being said, the trade was a fair deal. Enjoy.

Fair deal... and getting a twin reverb out of your house will reduce your air conditioning use in the summer time...

Twin reverbs weren't made for the Sonoran Desert...

Yeah, and no offense, but with the Fralins you'd be getting an upgrade.

I would love to have your Twin! I really like the old Fender Amps and I live in a place where I can turn it up to 4 and play at 1AM with no problems.....unless the deer or bears get upset!

Lol I had it up to 2 so far lol. Well too bad you didn't live here, I would trade you for one of your strat plus'.

The guy hasn't called me back so I guess he's not interested. Another guy wants to trade me for his supersonic combo. I think the twin sells for more used, but I don't know how I would like the super-sonic. I think I would like it, but it's also loud.
