I love playing Kashmir.

Led Zep's Dancin Days is in Open G. Pretty easy to play.

Another cool Clapton song for Open G is Motherless Children. Fun slide work. Easy to do.

Excellent. I downloaded a PF show from 2/19/88 off of Traders Den this weekend. Super soundboard. The show opens up with Shine. I also go over Gilmour licks like crazy although I rarely try and learn the entire song. I'll get a few new licks and go over them a million times then move on to something else.

STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm with you, Blues Boy. I found backing tracks for Tin Pan Alley and Texas Flood, and I can't stop playing those tunes along with the drums.

Must stop ... need to eat.

Man I love SRV. Extreme high level of playing. Even when he just would stay in the blues box he'd sound incredible.

I cannot agree more, Groovemongrel. How does he write these tunes when he could not read music? For some reason I'm always thinking this whenever I learn a new SRV tune.

The Lenny guitar inspired me to learn the song by the same name, and that's just such a cool tune too.

Reading music was never needed to play the blues!
