Guys, Sorry if this question has been asked a million times. I'm at work and dont have a lot of time to research. I'm looking at purchasing a 2003 stratocaster. I can't make out the serial number but I can tell it starts with MZ3 and then has 6 digits rather than 5. Does this scream fake?

No. My MIM has a serial number MZ5XXXXXX. It's common. 8)
