That's great Nik, hope it works well for you. Also, I've usually no more than a few pedals powered up at once. I don't remember the specs but even with all my junk up and smokin I'm still at less than half the draw the voodoo is rated for.

New, Pedal train Pro's are $150 with the soft case, $300 with the flight case. Each would be worth it, in my opinion, if that's what you need. Made very well.

I bought mine used off the bay from a guy who used zip ties so I didn't even have to scrape the old velcro. Serious about that dual lock, too. It'll never fail. Won't clog up with lint and crap like velcro does. I've got almost $3500 into this board and don't mind spending $50 at all to keep the junk from falling off.

After running this board for a while though, I'm already thinking of ditching it, and buying 2 smaller Pedal trains, the next size down and one smaller still that'll hold 4 essentials. Plug them together when I want it all or unplug the little one when I want and take it with.

Budglo (ha, I just got it...wish I was gloin', too) I've not heard of that. Tube OD? No real vacuum tubes in it for a hunerd bucks, though, is there?

One more thought on that JamMan; OK, 2. I was disappointed in the signal degradation and the lack of ability to bypass it, so I bought that little white Lehle so I could bypass it.

Dafreeze,no tubes. Its made similar to the ts808 I believe,I tried the ocd and really wanted something different.I have looked at the Lehle and would like to try it with my Dunlop rotovibe.I presently dont use the rotovibe because it degrades the tone so bad.Great effect though.

You can see, that DamJamMam ended up costing me a bit more than I thought it would.

DaFreeze.

Cheers for the tips mate. The softcase option looks to be good. I'll have to keep my eyes open. I wouldnt mind trying to knock up a ali board, though I like the enclosed idea. Maybe get some plates made up to slot into runners????

I dunno, it's all idea's.

Pleasures mine, Nik. Preciate the cheers, too...love to take you up on that but it got so good to me I gave it up. 3 years May 1.

that soft case is made well.

Don't understand this, though.

You'll see later. All my amps/guitars have extra added suprises. I dont see why a pedal board should be any different.

Well done on the quit too. More strength to you. Raising a coffee mug in your honour as I post.
Theres a few folks on these boards that dont drink. I'm ok, I test myself regular to make sure I'm in control. I'll enjoy most things I can stop at any time.

Ok so it's done kind of. All the holes are drilled, I'm just waiting on the powersupply. I may move the wireless receiver.

Heres the top.

A nice side view.

Now heres my added extra.
Image

A storage compartment to store my amp and speaker leads.

Dont bother commenting on the bad paintwork. I just dont care about paint, it looks of from 10ft away and thats all it needs to do.

I'm not entirely happy with its stability. It's ok, I reckon I'll get a good year out of it. So I think I'm going to make another with a metal frame, but encase it with ply or MDF so I can get that storage space.

I'm not too worried about weight. Ro(dent)adie can lift anything.
