i just restringed my american made strat i got last year and it doesnt sound the same someone give me some suggestions

Wow, somethings wrong when a fresh set of strings sounds bad to the player. Dude, you need to learn to change your strings more often. Dead strings don't sound right, not vice versa. Oh and strings don't last 3 months!!

Which string was on, and which is on now? And how old were your strings? You say you got your strat last year.. Have you changed them before?
