I didn't look at the guitar but if Eric Johnson actually signed it I doubt it happened the way the guy said,like promoting the fact that Eric approved of it.
People who know Eric Johnson say he is a very nice person,so if the guy just asked for a signature,Eric would probably oblige him.
To say he played it and approved the quality is a stretch of the imagination from a guy who is rumored to be able to hear differences in 9volt batteries....he is a perfectionist and that is from all who know the man.

A: I appreciate your enthusiasm. He was the first to play it, actually. After it was put together into a finished product, I only did a setup on it and checked how it played briefly in the shop. Then, he was the next to handle...

My Lonely Boy fake fender sixties strat is a nicer playing and sounding guitar and more famous too it only cost me 500 bucks
