Just picked up a 1992 MIM tele for $100, a 2003 fender fretless jazz bass mim for $100 and a 65 twin reverb reissue for $500. All in good condition and sound good.

Except the tele has some stickers on it? Anyone know a safe way to remove them? They look like paper, so it'll probably rip apart if I try and take them off.

Ether works real good to take the glue off ...But do not smoke while you are doing it  If you would like to sell the MIM Tele i will give you $125 plus shipping and you can leave the stickers on..That way you wont have to work so hard...Just trying to help lighten your load...
Congrats on your gear...I would offer to buy the Twin also but it would cost more than you paid for it to ship with as much as they weigh....

I got the stickers off, looks good. It's in really good shape for the age. I took some pics of it before I took the stickers off, but will go take another with them off. The guy changed the pickups to SCN pickups he said, I'll have to verify that though.

I am probably going to sell them though, might keep the amp. Yeah it is really heavy though. Have to look up the serial number to see if I can find out when the amp was made.

I just noticed the Jazz pickups are SCN also, he didn't mention that.

The tele is very nice, the bass is a steal

Wow! Your new gear sounds awesome. It is always great to get a brand new guitar and get it tuned up to play your first song. Enjoy!

Oddly enough a hair dryer has always worked wonders for me when removing stickers. It doesn't get so hot that it bubbles the paint but it warms the glue up enough to peel off the sticker. Just an after thought.
