I just bought a Roadhouse Strat and i'm really liking the guitar ...It may not be as versatile as my mega modded MIM Fat Strat but for a straight rock'in Blues guitar it is very hot...I really like the neck Texas special very nice warm glassy tone ...
But it made me think that if i like this MIM Strat this much and as much as i like my modded Mexi Fat Strat..What are some other great MIM Strat models..
Lets leave the MIA VS MIM thing out of this ..I own both as many do..And that argument is getting old..As an owner of two MIM's and two MIA's..I can recognize the great value and quality of the MIM Strats with out having to compare them to the MIA models...
What i would like to hear about is different models of the excellent MIM made Strats...[/img]

My fav MiM Strat is my Classic 1970s natural ash finish with maple neck and white pickguard. Has a great tone.

I think the best MIM strats have got to be Lonestar strat, I love the Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pick-up, great for what I play.

It's a toss up between a Classic Player 60s and a Jimmie Vaughan for me. If I'm in the mood to play a vintage Strat, I grab the Classic Player. If it's modern I want I pick up the Vaughan.

Well, I don't have much of a choice as I have only the one, but I love my Standard. Just a great basic Strat, nothing fancy, with a sunburst finish and maple neck, and no mods.

My 2009 Fat Strat...black with white pg and maple neck... which I converted by dropping in a DiMarzio Area Model pre-wired pg.

What a difference in sound!

I love the fact that so many are piping in about there MIM Standards....I also own a 2008 MIM H.S.S that i modded the hell out of...John Suhr V60's neck and Mid with a pearly gate in the bridge..Rolled neck edges fret job...On and on but even with out these mods it was still a great guitar..
Stock i think the Roadhouse is a better guitar IMO then the MIM Standard ..But i like the fact that so many are saying that they are happy with there MIM Standards..
I know for my self both my MIA Strats a 73 Standard and 89/90 ultra are great guitars ..The best i have ever owned...But when it comes time to hit the Bars or going on the road they stay locked safe inside there cases..I play my MIM's far more than i play the MIA's..
I will even say bottom line the 73 Standard is a classic guitar with a tone and feel all its own but as far as build quality the MIM's of today have better quality then the 73..Even with it being a MIM..
The technology that they are built on today far exceed the engineering of the more vintage guitars..

Easy one..

The Classic 60s or maybe the Classic Player 60s. One of the two anyway.
