I like Tobbaco but my favourite is Antique Burst...

Unfortunately has been missing from the line-up for a while :)

I love flame 2-tone! But my favorite is still regular old beat-up '62 factory 3-tone sunburst.

Sunset Metallic Sunburst is the newest addition for the American Deluxe Series; looks like a Candy Tangerine fading smoothly into a Graffiti Yellow!

It is a toss up between the Cherry Burst on my Deluxe or the Blue Burst on my Ultra. I feel outside of the CS the best paint jobs were done on Strat Plus and Ultra models. Just amazing paint jobs.

It's effectively a '62 Flame Top Strat with some tasty upgrades.

Jes2112 replaced the original Fender rosewood neck with a Warmoth birdseye maple neck featuring a nice soft V shape, a compound radius and 22 jumbo frets. The Texas Specials were replaced with a set of active EMG DG20s with onboard EXG and SPC circuits.

Jes2112 has done a very cool job. By swapping the original Fender '62 rosewood neck for a new Warmoth birdseye maple neck with 22 jumbo frets and replacing the TX Specials with the DG20 set, he transformed his '62 Flame Top Strat into a killer sounding blues-rock machine.

The Warmoth neck has a compound radius and a soft V profile.

Gibson calls these kind of bursts "tri-burst" I think because of the reddish quality in the transition...

I know Fender used Honeyburst on the Roscoe Beck Bass IV, but not on guitars. Suhr, Grosh and G&L use that finish regularly on their instruments.

Unfortunately there weren't Honeyburst Strats, but I was lucky to find a picture of a very rare Honeyburst Custom Tele (which is not mine) on the TDPRI.
