Sometime back (around first of March) I received an email from Fender asking me to register to win a Fender American Special Prototype. I deleted the initial invitation from Fender, that most likely explained when they would draw/choose a winner. Did anyone else sign-up, better yet did anyone here win… or have they had the drawing yet? It seems like they were going to draw around endish of April?

Peace,
84

Edit: Just found this after searching... 9. WINNER: The Winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received, via a random drawing held by Sponsor on April 27, 2010.

Good luck to all who entered!

I signed up. You can find it on the fender website.

I did too... But there's no way a kid from a little town in SC is going to win a contest sponsored by a company like Fender...

I could always try though...

I already own an American Special prototype. It has a nitro finish and was called Highway One.
