I bought my guitar about a year ago off ebay and i'm wanting to make sure its a legit strat.
Its serial #MZ25111503. Ive checkd the dateing thingy and it says the MIMs have MZ2+5 digits . dose that meen it should only have 5 digits after the 2 or am i just overthinking it and im good?[/img]

However, that is not conclusive. Two things to do. One is send an email to Fender Customer Relations and ask them if they think your number is real.

The second is post nice clear photos of your guitar - including as many details as you like of headstock front and back, bridge, etc etc - here on this Forum and folkswill be glad to look 'em over and give you opinions.

thank you, but i was checking that site out last night and i dont think its really legit, ive read other peoples thoguhts on that site and they agree as well that its not very good, how erver i will contact fender on this.
