Just purchased one of these in Brown Sunburst ! 1st of all what does "FSR" stand for ? Factory Special Run ? I wonder how many of these have been made and which year they were manufactured. This is a cool MIM Strat because it comes stock w/Vintage Noiseless pups and upgraded pup covers, pickguard, etc. If you're in the market for a MIM Standard - take a look at this guitar. While the body is made from Ash and is supposed to be brighter and snappier in tone, the beautiful grain that Ash produces makes up for it. If you want mellower more rounded tone - just tweak the settings on your amp, tone knobs, pedals, etc. and she'll be singing sweet tunes in no time ! There's no sound like a Fender Stratocaster ! Rock on

You got it! FSR=Factor Special Run. Basically a custom order design that Fender distrubters can aquire. I wish GC had one of those in stock. I would have bought it!
