Are you referring to the bridge or locking device near the nut ?? Anyway both of those are original and do an incredible job of keeping the guitar in tune...

Pretty Strat!
I own a black '77 Les Paul Custom that my son plays now,I bought it new and used it for years as my #1,but started playing Strats exclusively around 20 years ago.
Every once in awhile I "borrow" the Custom to see if I want to go back to it some more,after a little while....naw!...back to the Fenders. 8)
