Im bidding on a perfect, as new MIM strat. The only problem i have is that the "contour body" print is not on the headstock. im wondering if this is an indication of its lack of authenticity:

No. It's legit. Some headstocks have different or no sticker in that position. My MIM Powerhouse Strat says Deluxe Series out on the ball.

That's a nice looking guitar. Love the color! :D

Thanks, If i win it it wont look like that for long. changes planned are:

Black Schaller locking tuners.
Black Nut.
Black Pickguard, with hole for one humbucker, one vol and one tone control.
Seymour Duncan JB in bidge position(maby another humbucker, not sure yet)
Black jack plate.
Black Bridge and saddles.

Will be keeping all the parts so it can be returned to stock configuration if needs be.

Here's hoping il win it!

It is a real one. That one is from 2006, the ball sticker for the MIMs Standards went on starting last year.

Looks real to me. I'm not particularly pleased by the transition of the neck profile towards the heel though. It's square a loooong way before it hits the neck pocket.
